| S/N/I/P, Spay Neuter Incentive Program, is a program designed to reduce the unwanted pet population by providing an incentive to individuals who participate. S/N/I/P will provide FREE spays and neuters for "neighborhood strays". | |

| To end pet overpopulation by providing a $5.00 reward for each cat brought to a participating veterinarian for a S/N/I/P spay or neuter, and provide the service FREE to the community! | |
| How does S/N/I/P work? | |

Individuals interested in participating contact a designated volunteer at their apartment complex and complete an application for each cat they intend to include in the program. Humane traps will be available for loan. |

S/N/I/P will provide a list of participating veterinarians in their community. The participant schedules an appointment for each cat they intend to have spayed or neutered, and is responsible for bringing the animal to the vet. Upon completion of the surgery, the veterinarian provides $5.00 cash. |

Volunteers return cats to the property for release after recovery. |

Veterinarians return the applications submitted by participants to S/N/I/P and receive reimbursement from S/N/I/P for the surgeries. |

Please Note: Cats designated for trap and release will need to have one ear "tipped" to avoid re-trapping. Families who do not wish to have their cat's ear tipped will be offered the option of paying $15 for a cat neuter and $25 for a cat spay. |

S/N/I/P offers the community a reasonable solution for spaying and neutering every animal, and provides incentive for the community to get involved. |

S/N/I/P reduces the number of stray animals in the community, and the nuisance complaints associated with the number of strays abandoned in each community. |

S/N/I/P develops a community awareness of this epidemic problem, eventually bringing to an end the unnecessary suffering or euthanasia of otherwise healthy animals. |
